Meet up with Lincoln and Omaha young professionals for some democracy in action. This year we’re bringing the capitol to you through an interactive day of policy. Connect with other young professionals, hear from a variety of community representatives and make your voice heard in this experience.

YP at the Capitol will be focused on giving you foundational information about political parties, the function of local government, and the history of Nebraska politics.

YP at the Capitol is an opportunity for both Lincoln Young Professionals and Omaha Young Professionals to learn more about local public policy and network with those we elected to represent our areas. The day will start at the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce on the fourth floor with networking and educational sessions. Lunch is on your own but after we will head to the capitol for either a tour or to listen in on the session.
