Description
Restaurant Business Essentials
The Greater Omaha Chamber is partnering with Metropolitan Community College's Business Development and MCC's Institute for the Culinary Arts to offer practical, hands-on workshops designed to help restaurant owners, foodservice professionals, and others build the business skills behind the restaurant.
Learn from local industry experts and connect with Omaha's restaurant and hospitality community. These two-hour weekly courses help managers, owners, and aspiring restaurateurs grow their business knowledge, for less than $30 a session, thanks to this partnership with the Greater Omaha Chamber.
In this high-stakes, fun-filled, collaborative incubator, students challenge the status quo by engineering a "green pitch" aligned with the Green Restaurant Association's environmental certification standards. Acting as industry coaches and "sharks," local sustainability experts and community members will critique, mentor, and score these innovative solutions on a real-world impact matrix, refining the next generation of eco-conscious restaurant operations.
Restaurant Business: Facility Design Nov. 4 | 4-6 p.m. | $19 Explore key considerations for creating a restaurant space that works for your business and customers.
