Course Overview
This two-day General Contractor License Exam Prep Course is designed for contractors preparing to take the ICC General Contractor Class B or Class C exam required for licensing in Omaha, Nebraska.
The course is exam-preparation focused and is intended to help participants understand how the exam is structured, how to efficiently locate answers using approved reference materials, and how to apply effective test-taking strategies in an open-book testing environment.
This course is not a comprehensive building code class. Instruction focuses on exam navigation, reference familiarity, and practical strategies for success using the residential code applicable to Class B and Class C licensing.

Required Exam Reference
The 2018 International Residential Code (IRC) is the required and primary code book referenced on the ICC Class B and Class C General Contractor exams. These exams focus on one- and two-family residential construction and residential scope work.
This course instruction is based exclusively on the International Residential Code and does not cover the International Building Code.
Registration Options
Option 1: Class Only – $185This option is for participants who already own the 2018 International Residential Code.
Option 2: Class plus Required Book and Tabs – $355This option includes course registration, the 2018 International Residential Code Book, and materials designed to support efficient exam navigation and test preparation.

This course is intended solely as exam preparation for the ICC General Contractor Class B and Class C exams. It is not intended to teach or review the International Residential Code in its entirety and should not be considered a substitute for formal code education. Successful completion of this course does not guarantee passage of the ICC exam. Participants are responsible for registering for and scheduling their exam directly with the International Code Council.
