My love for horses started early. Like many, I was drawn to their beauty, strength, and gentle nature. What began as a childhood passion grew into a career that lets me work with amazing animals, build lasting relationships, and help riders learn and grow.

Today, I own Ashley Mason Equestrian (AME), a members-only equestrian program in Omaha, NE. AME started with just two horses in my backyard and has grown into a busy program teaching over 65 lessons a week and caring for more than 35 horses.

AME is more than a riding school—it’s a community. Our focus is on helping riders gain confidence, develop skills, and carry the lessons they learn here into every part of their lives.

At the heart of AME is The Levels of HorseMastership, a 10-level curriculum that gives riders a clear path for progress. It combines riding skills with horsemanship, care, and responsibility. It’s designed to help riders grow, step by step, while celebrating each milestone along the way.

This program is about more than just riding well. It’s about understanding horses, building trust, and learning the value of hard work—skills that stay with riders both in and out of the saddle.

Building AME has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. It’s taken a lot of early mornings and late nights, but it’s been worth every moment.

One of my proudest achievements was transforming a small local program into a thriving operation with over 100 students. That experience helped shape AME into what it is today.

Our memberships are designed to meet riders at every stage. From the Aspiring Rider Membership for beginners to the Elite Equestrian Membership with personalized training and a horse lease, there’s something for everyone. We also offer programs like the Homeschool Membership, perfect for flexible schedules, and the Tiny Rider Program for kids as young as three.

We believe in the power of horses to make a difference. That’s why AME is committed to making riding accessible and creating opportunities for everyone to experience the joy of horses.

Our junior helper program teaches responsibility, teamwork, and leadership, preparing young riders for success in and out of the barn. We also work to keep our barn drama-free, ensuring it’s a positive and supportive space for all.
