The Greater Omaha Chamber is partnering with Metropolitan Community College's Business Development and MCC's Institute for the Culinary Arts to offer practical, hands-on workshops designed to help restaurant owners, foodservice professionals, and others build the business skills behind the restaurant.
Learn from local industry experts and connect with Omaha's restaurant and hospitality community. These two-hour weekly courses help managers, owners, and aspiring restaurateurs grow their business knowledge, for less than $30 a session, thanks to this partnership with the Greater Omaha Chamber.

Open to local restaurant patrons, history enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike, this immersive workshop, presented in partnership with the Omaha Public Library, tracks the rise of the pizzeria as a cornerstone of Omaha's community dining culture. Working alongside local experts and fellow pizza enthusiasts, you will trace the lineage of the city's iconic family-run pizza houses, analyze the evolution of regional styles, and explore how these welcoming, neighborhood spaces built the foundation for Omaha's modern dining scene.
