YP Volunteer Challenge: Give Back. Log Hours. Make an Impact.

This September, we’re challenging Greater Omaha’s Young Professionals to show up, give back and make an impact across our community!

Throughout the entire month of September, volunteer with the organizations and causes that matter most to you, track your hours and see just how much good Greater Omaha’s YPs can accomplish together.

Here’s how it works:

1. Register for the YP Volunteer Challenge to get the challenge added to your calendar and receive your volunteer hours tracking form.
2. Volunteer throughout September wherever and however you’d like! Choose the nonprofit, organization, cause or community effort that means something to you.
3. Log your volunteer hours on your tracking form throughout the month.
4. Share your impact! Snap photos while you’re out volunteering and share them on social media using #OmahaYPsGiveBack so we can celebrate YPs making a difference all across our community. Make sure to tag @omahayp!
5. Submit your completed tracker at the end of the challenge.

And there’s an extra reason to rack up those volunteer hours! The top three volunteers with the most hours completed during September will each get to select a nonprofit to receive a $200 donation from the Omaha Community Foundation.

That means your time has the opportunity to make an impact twice—first through the hours you give and again through a donation to an organization you care about.
