We are excited to announce that the 2025 Nebraska Ambassadors Forum will take place on Monday, 27 October at UNO's Thompson Alumni Center!

The Nebraska Ambassadors Forum is a yearly program to bring distinguished diplomatic practitioners to speak with students and community leaders in Omaha and Lincoln. Each year’s program is developed jointly by the American Academy of Diplomacy in cooperation with the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Lincoln and Burlington Capital.

2025 Program:
The Trump Administration is reshaping the State Department, limiting and refocusing foreign assistance, and raising questions about its relationship with Europe. Is this a fundamental shift from the largely bipartisan foreign policy that has guided America from the end of World War II through the Cold War and into the 21st century? How new are these developments? Do some reflect a return to pre-WWII themes in American foreign policy? And what can we expect from these changes?

Come hear from this year's panelists on issues of economic development, diplomatic alliances, and US-world trade.
