For the first time, Lemonade Day is coming to Omaha! On October 2nd–4th, local youth will have the opportunity to become entrepreneurs by creating and operating their own lemonade stands.

Lemonade Day is a hands-on youth entrepreneurship program that teaches kids how to set goals, create a business plan, budget, market their business, serve customers, make a profit, and give back to their community. It’s more than selling lemonade. It’s an opportunity for young people to develop real-world skills, confidence, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

 What is a Sweet Spot?

A Sweet Spot is a local business or organization that provides a safe, high-traffic location where a young entrepreneur can operate their lemonade stand during Lemonade Day weekend.

Sweet Spots can be located at places such as:

•  Retail stores
•  Restaurants
•  Banks and financial institutions
•  Churches
•  Parks
•  Main Streets
•  Businesses and community organizations

Why Become a Sweet Spot?

By opening your doors to a young entrepreneur, you can:

1. Support Omaha youth by providing a safe place for them to put their business skills into action.
