This session, led by Krishna Clay and Jen Wichern, dives into the why, what, and how of talent assessments, exploring their increasing relevance and the steps to execute them effectively. Krishna and Jen have experienced the impact of talent assessment from both sides leading the process as talent and organizational development professionals, and participating in it as employees. Through this session, we want to share the tools and real-world strategies that help people and organizations harness that power, no matter their starting point. With attendees, they'll compare two real-world approaches one leveraging robust systems and budgets, and another using resourceful, low-cost strategies. Krishna Clay Bio
Krishna Clay is a Senior Change Management Specialist at Omaha Public Power District (OPPD). Previously, Krishna served as Talent and Organization Development Manager at Oriental Trading Company, where she led initiatives in culture, employee engagement, and employee & leadership development. She has also held various roles in talent development at First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO), supporting learning strategies across diverse teams. With a passion for helping organizations and people thrive, she draws on this diversity to support high-performing, adaptable workplaces. Krishna holds a Master of Professional Studies with an emphasis in Human Services and Organizational Performance and is certified in Prosci Change Management, Emergenetics, Lead In 30, and the Motivators Assessment. She is also a past president of the Association for Talent Development Nebraska Chapter (ATD Nebraska).
Jen Wichern Bio
Jen Wichern is a Talent Development Manager at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE). Energized by helping others discover and do what they love, Jen’s experience enables her to work on diverse projects including talent management, leadership development, change management, coaching, and training and development. Jen is a past president of the Association for Talent Development Nebraska Chapter (ATD Nebraska). She holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from College of Saint Mary and certifications in Emergenetics, Prosci Change Management, Advanced Consulting Skills, Emotional Quotient Inventory 2.0, Intercultural Development Inventory, and Life and Leadership Coaching.
